Aims and Objectives:
The Medical Research & Clinical Audit Workshop is a research educational workshop developed by the Continuous Medical Education Department at IMET2000. This workshop equips physicians and residents with fundamental clinical research skills through a practical and case-based discussion approach. It aims to enhance the quality of research studies conducted by physicians and residents, therefore, promoting excellence in healthcare practice.
This Workshop specifically aims to:
Supporting learners to develop and display an acceptable level of the following:
- Acquire knowledge related to medical research, including basic, clinical, and applied research.
- Master research methodologies, including study design and implementation.
- Conduct clinical audits and quality improvement projects in a healthcare setting.
- Develop a sense of responsibility and activism to address healthcare needs and improve health outcomes.
- Conduct research projects independently, adhering to ethical and regulatory guidelines.
