In a move that reflects the International Medical Education Trust 2000 commitment to supporting medical education and healthcare in Palestine, IMET2000 has launched a programme of partial scholarships specifically aimed at healthcare students who have been affected by the war and the current political situation.
This initiative seeks to provide the necessary support for students to continue their education and contribute to the rebuilding and development of the healthcare sector in Palestine, underscoring the role of education as a foundation for sustainable development and building a better future for all.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be currently enrolled as a student for the year 2024 at a Palestinian university.
- Must have been adversely affected by conflict.
- Priority will be accorded to students demonstrating academic excellence.

Range of support:
Grants are contingent upon the availability of funds and the number of applications received. The evaluation committee will award up to a maximum of 1000$ per applicant. Medical and Nursing students are highly encouraged to apply according to their financial need.
