Aims and Objectives:
The Stop the Bleed course teaches individuals how to provide vital initial actions to stop uncontrolled bleeding in emergency situations. The Bleeding Control Basics course gives participants the necessary tools to become empowered initial responders.
The IMET2000 is the only provider of STOP THE BLEED® in Palestine, teaching a safe and reliable method of immediate management of severely injured patients. The program is adapted by the American College of Surgeons Committee.
This course specifically aims to:
The STOP THE BLEED® program provides participants with three quick techniques to help save a life before someone bleeds out:
- How to use your hands to apply pressure to a wound.
- How to pack a wound to control bleeding.
- How to correctly apply a tourniquet.
Fees: 100 NIS
