Dear IMET2000,

First of all, I would like to thank you for your support in participating in this amazing opportunity which was really a life-changing experience for me. And I would like to report my participation: AMEE Conference is one of the most exciting calendar events in healthcare professions education. Professionals, Educators, Students, Institutions, and organizations from around the world come together to network and share new ideas, innovations, and approaches in health professions education.

The Conference was a success for me. I presented my abstract which was titled: "Surgical Skills in times of war: How medical education can act as a key player?" and it was admired by the attendees. Also, I presented another abstract on behalf of a friend from Sudan who couldn't attend the conference and it was titled:" Interprofessional field training, scientific research, and rural development "

I've participated in the "Essential Skills in Medical Education - Clinical Teaching" Course, Which gave me the opportunity to share my ideas with many doctors and professionals from all over the world via many interactive workshops. Also, it gave me the ability to :

Select effective teaching strategies
Understand and apply direct observation to assess learners’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes directly related to patient care
Reflect on and practice skills for effective feedback
Consider "Psychological Safety" when dealing with patients or learners.

Also, I attended many other sessions and workshops during the conference:
