Huge thanks for your kindness and generosity to support my short scientific visit to oxford university, I am truly grateful for your support which allowed me to deliver my keynote speech to the EBM Live international Conference which was held in oxford university. This was a great opportunity for me being the only speaker from Palestine and the region in that prestigious event.Although, my visit lasted only 10 days but it was successful and has achieved its main objective plus some additional productive meetings.1. Delivering my keynote Speech at the EBMLive 22 International conference held at Oxford University in conjunction with BMJ journal.2. Holding 2 meetings with Prof. Carl Heneghan-Director of the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine (CEBM), we discussed future collaboration with Palestinian medical schools to promote better understanding and adoption of Evidence-Based Medicine and Clinical Audits. Also, we discussed the publication of our Systematic review study on the national prevalence of obesity and overweight in Palestine.3. Holding a meeting with the Chronic Pain Systematic Reviews Research group at the CEBM center, Oxford City, we discussed some evidence based updates on effective intervention for pain.4. Holding a meeting with the Obesity and overweight evidence generating group at Nuffield primary care department at Oxford University. we discussed some evidence based updates on effective intervention for pain.5. Holding 2 meetings with Prof. Steven Woloshin- author of the famous book "know your chances" and an International speaker on communicating Evidence findings with the Media. we discussed ways to effectively communicate evidence and research finding with the public and with non-medical professionals and decision makers.6. Having an open discussion with prof. Sunetra Gupta from Oxford epidemiology center and prof. David from collateral global health organization. We discussed various issues including the many rumors surrounding covid-19 pandemic, its long-term effects on peoples' health and economy and the factors behind delay in Covid19 vaccines updated in certain countries and certain communities.Without a doubt, you support played a vital role in achieving my visit objectives.Once again, Thank you so much IMET2000 for your kindness and generosityRespectfully yoursDr. Khamis ElessiDr Khamis Elessi, MD.
