TEACHING THE TEACHERS COURSE in Collaboration with Al Quds University and Al Ahli Hospital Session II

Effective medical teaching has a major role in not only empowering learners but ultimately helping those whom are being treated.

 

 

So, it's our utmost pleasure to announce the kick-off of "Teaching the Teachers for health care educators" joint training program between IMET2000-Palestine, Al Quds University and Al Ahli Hospital, which aims to meet the need, train, and provide medical educators with a greater understanding of the advanced principles of learning and teaching.

 

 

The program consists of two sessions

 

 

Program timeline:

Starting from

 

Module 1: Tuesday, 17th May

What is a good health sciences teacher?

Understanding basic educational principles in the context of health sciences education

 

Module 2: Tuesday, 24th May.

Teaching in large groups (Lectures)

Teaching in small groups (Lab-based, bed-side teaching, etc.)

Health care educators from Al Quds University and Al Ahli Hospital

 

 

The Course will be delivered by Dr. Malik Zaben, IMET2000 CEO, and Neurosurgery lecturer at Cardiff University, United Kingdom.
