Dear IMET2000-Pal,
First and foremost, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to IMET2000-PAL for their continued support of my journey in psychiatry for the third consecutive year. This year has been eventful in all aspects. I began conducting interviews with new patients and following up with chronic patients under the supervision of the department head, who continually praises my scientific insights and decisions in diverse treatment plans. Since the beginning of the academic year, I have been preparing for valuable international examinations in the field of psychiatry. My endeavors were ultimately rewarded with success in two of the most significant psychiatric exams globally: the Arab Board Primary Examination, a highly honored certificate in all Arab countries, and the Royal College of Psychiatrists Paper A Examination, a widely accepted and renowned certificate in the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and Canada. These exams, coupled with my daily work at the hospital, have equipped me with up-to-Date knowledge and clinical appraisal and boosted my confidence in dealing with various cases. This year was on the verge of ending in a distinctive way, signifying my dedicated efforts. However, the recent war in Gaza took a heavy toll on all fronts of life. My family's house and my father’s pharmacy were destroyed in the early days of the war. I also lost three relatives, and my family is currently displaced to a shelter in southern Gaza. Once again, many thanks and gratitude to the foundation and the donors for the trust and the scholarship they have honored me with. I hope for continued support in the remaining part of my specialization journey and my professional life.
Yours sincerely, |
