Training the Trainer for Health Care Professionals (Physician, Nurse,)
Course Aims:
1. Teaching is a necessary skill for all healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, dentists).
2. Medicine is built on knowledge, and it is imperative that any healthcare professional can pass on both theoretical and practical skills; to be a good mentor, you must be a good teacher.
Course objectives:
By the end of this program participants will be able to :
1) Understand basic educational principles.
2) Check their performance as teachers and how to keep up-to-date.
3) Understand learning outcomes and outcome-based education.
4) Facilitate learning in small and large size groups and using new technology.
5) Assess the progress of the learner (student).
