I was invited to speak at an international conference about Lung Cancer in Spain from (Sep 7, 2019) until (Sep 10, 2019). My lecture was about cancer care in conflict zones and its challenges.

The conference was coordinated by the International Thoracic Oncology Nursing Forum (ITONF).

They discussed the latest clinical trials and immunotherapies and its roles in treating lung cancer, especially in advanced stages and metastasis.

They discussed new modules in diagnosis that is less invasive- like liquid biopsy instead of tissue biopsy-.

In my talk at the conference, I discussed the importance of bridging the gaps in our practice in Palestine to improve cancer care and cancer nursing education.
