Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Training Session II
Who Should Attend?
Pediatric physicians and nurses.
Aims and Objectives:
This course is designed for pediatric physicians and nurses from the government health care hospitals of different districts at the west bank, who are working at the pediatrics department. PALS provider course offer training to diagnose and administer care or to recognize, prevent and treat cardiorespiratory arrest in children. This Course emphasizes 5 major concepts:
- Identification and treatment of problems that place the child at risk for cardiac arrest.
- Application of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment.
- Use of the evaluate-identify-intervene sequence.
- Use of PALS algorithms and flowcharts.
- Demonstration of effective resuscitation team dynamics.
Date: Saturday and Sunday, Augest 4-5, 2018 - 08:30-14:30.
