IMET2000-Pal Palliative Care and Quality of Patient’s Cancer, Nursing Training, Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre - Glasgow. December, 2017- Mrs Khitam Harb

I am studying at Bethlehem University continuinghigh diploma in cancer and palliative care who went to Glasgow from 26th of September tell the 9th of October. We start to accomplish our goals from this visit me and my colleagues went to Marry Curie Hospice.

I have learned a lot and saw a lot of things relaxation programs all were new things I know about I went with the community nurse out to see patients in their houses and  I went with the morning round with the doctor, I also went to MDT it was great.

It was great experience for me to see in reality what is oncology and palliative nurse is, and how it should be, in fact, it gives me a flashlight about what we should do in Palestine and how to work with the cancer patient in Palestine and to give a high quality of care for them as the cancer patient in Glasgow.

Finally, I hope this experience is the start of high-quality health and life for the cancer patient in Palestine.
