I had heard much about AMEE conference; however, attending the enormous gathering of more than 3700 participants from more than 95 countries exceeded all expectations. AMEE 2017 was held in the beautiful city of Helsinki, capital of Finland. We began our first day by attending ESME course, a course that I believe every teacher looking to improve their skills should attend. The course covered very important topics, including how to conduct lectures, set exams, learning how to deal with students, how to improve our own skills as teachers, and how to obtain the next level of education. The most interesting part was being able to hear so many different teaching experiences from countries around the world.

I would like to thank IMET2000-PAL for giving us the opportunity to be a part of this conference. It is never too soon to begin applying what we have learned, starting with ourselves.
