Critical Nursing Core Training: Hemodynamic Monitoring; Measurement and Interpretation- Session I

Who Should Attend?
Critical nurses and senior supervisors.

Aims and Objectives:
This course is designed for critical nurses from the governmental health care hospitals of different districts at the west bank, who are working at the critical departments. This program specifically aims to:

1. Describe the normal cardiac anatomy and physiology and normal blood hemodynamics pressures inside the heart.

2. Identify blood pressure, pulse and hemoglobin levels.

3. Understand the arterial blood pressure monitoring: Invasive and noninvasive methods.

4. Understand CVP lines and Swan Ganz lines; measurements and interpretation.

5. Recognise levelling and taking measurements from invasive measurement methods.
