Aims and Objectives:

This course is designed for physicians and nurses working at the governmental and private hospitals from the different districts in the West Bank. This program specifically aims to:

1.            Define the pain.

2.            Pain Pathology and Physiology.

3.            Discuss why should we treat pain.

4.            Mention the classification of pain.

5.            Relieve pain and barriers of pain management.

6.            Assess the pain severity.

7.            Discuss the basic approach to pain management.
