تستضيف دائرة التعليم الطبي المستمر في المؤسسة الدولية للتعليم الطبي البروفسور الامريكية رايتشل ايشيما - مكاي، أخصائية التخدير  والانعاش في جامعة سان فرانسيسكو - الولايات المتحدة الامريكية ، في زيارة عمل تمتد اربعة اسابيع ويتضمن البرنامج التعليمي للزيارة تدريبا عمليا في غرف العمليات حول مهارات طب التخدير وتخدير الحالات المختلفة اضافة الى تعليم اسس البحث العلمي للمقيمين ضمن برنامج التخصص التابع للمجلس الطبي الفلسطيني في مستشفى رفيديا الحكومي في نابلس و مجمع فلسطين الطبي في رام الله و المستشفى الاهلي في الخليل و مستشفى المقاصد في القدس بواقع أسبوع تعليمي في كل مستشفى. كما  يتضمن البرنامج عقد ورشات تعليمية اسبوعية حول طب التخدير و استخدام التكنولوجيا لتقديم بعض المحاضرات والمواد التعليمية عن بعد والنقاش ودراسة بعض الحالات الطبية التعليمية لتطوير الجانب الاكاديمي لدى الاطباء المقيمين ،وذلك ضمن مشروع

 

Dr.Rachel Eshima-Mckay visit, Anaesthesia residents Training Project , 

 

Dr Eshima-Mckay is a Consultant anesthesiologist in San Francisco, California and is affiliated with UCSF Medical Center. She received her medical degree from Keck School of Medicine of USC and has been in practice for 21 years, she has an extensive experience in her field with a remarkable inputs in anaesthesia research.

 

She is a visiting instructor in IMET2000-Pal Anaesthesia Residency training  Program.  During her 4 weeks stay, residents working in 4 different Medical centres (Nablus,Ramallah,Hebron,Jerusalem) will have the benefit of improving their clinical skills in different areas of anaesthesia, also Dr.Mckay will conduct teaching sessions about various topics in Anaesthesia and how to conduct a research.

 

During Dr.Eshima-Mckay Stay, and with IMET2000-Pal support, Dr Mckay will present online lectures on regular basis, which is planed to help residents discussing and understanding some of what they meet in regular basis in hospitals, or some unusual cases and clarifying some selected topics as part of anaesthesia training curriculum of IMET2000-Pal visitors.
