IMET2000-Pal Oncology Workshop: Introduction to Cancer for Nurses

Who Should Attend?   

Nurses are caring for cancer patients in hospitals, hospices, care homes and the community.

Aims and Objectives:

This workshop has been specifically designed to equip health care support workers with the key knowledge and skills to improve the standard of care provided to cancer patients.  This program specifically aims to:
  1. Clearly define the growth difference between cancer cells and normal cells.
  2. Define the various current cancer treatments and common side effects.
  3. Explore health care workers role in relation to assessing, caring and communicating with cancer patients and their families.

Location and Time:

The training will be held in Caesor Hostel, Ramallah city at October 20, 2015.

Gender: Males and Females.
Age: no age limit.

Project Implementation:
The training will be implemented over one day (7 hours).
